Dr Bobby Ahmed is Medical Director and CEO of the chain of Regent Street Clinics

He is UK born and educated, and has trained in the fields of hospital medicine, aesthetic non-surgical cosmetic medicine, occupational Health and primary care.

His warm, down to earth and sympathetic approach complements the patient-centred ethos of the clinic perfectly.

He is a regular voice and face in local media circles and has had his own radio shows on Heart FM ("Sort Your Life Out With Dr Bobby") and BBC radio Nottingham.

Outside of medicine, Dr Bobby has travelled extensively, including time spent working in Australia (Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney) and the Caribbean, researching HIV/AIDS in Jamaica and the Bahamas (Princess Margaret Hospital).

He is a keen speaker on the History of Medicine and welcomes students keen to get an insight into the fascinating and challenging world of Medicine.

In January 2011, Dr Bobby was appointed as a director onto the board of APAS (alcohol problems advisory services), East Midlands, as recognition of his particular medical interest in helping problem alcohol drinkers achieve abstinence and a new start in their lives.

His business strategy for the next 12 months includes further satellite expansion of clinics across the UK (with another 3 clinics forecast for 2012) as well as furthering an international presence with the recently opened clinic aimed at the ex-pat population at Healthcare City in Dubai and a unit in Abu Dhabi.

Regent Street Clinics are now located centrally in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Newark, making high quality, patient-centred private GP/doctor services readily available across the East Midlands.
